Before I ever started to write my own songs, I would have to use the songs that I had heard on the radio to capture a special moment, a milestone, or a period in my life. Whether it was an important event, my first love, or even my first heartbreak - there's a song attached to the memories during that period of my life.

To this day, many of the best and worst moments in my life are associated with a song and when I hear one of them, it takes me back in time with a flood of memories of that particular event or period in my life. I refer to these songs as the "Soundtrack Of My Life," much like that of a great movie. Though I believe in and have experienced the power of a song, its true power and influence in our lives is immeasureable. If we lost the gift of music, our lives would be overwhelmingly different and changed forever. Try to imagine seeing your favorite movie for the first time - without any music playing in the background to direct your thoughts and emotions. Your interpretation, your love, and your passion for that particular film may be very different.

Music communicates in a language all its own. It can tell a story and even reveal our deepest and most guarded thoughts and emotions.
